Tom Carson

Tom is Managing Director of Kiteford Consulting and holds several non-executive director positions, including roles with an international technology plc and an Irish cybersecurity company. An accomplished C-suite executive, he has developed a broad, cross-industry executive coaching and advisory practice.
His consulting approach is informed by more than 35 years of leadership experience, including senior roles as Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and, most recently, Group Chief Business Officer of a global telecommunications company. Tom is also an active entrepreneur and investor, with interests across the hospitality, leisure, property and technology sectors.

Tom is a Computer Engineering graduate, MBA, Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and qualified Executive Coach. His career spans more than 35 years in the technology and telecommunications sectors, with extensive leadership experience across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America.
Tom has held senior executive positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, BT and, from 2012 to 2022, Digicel Business International. He has extensive experience in organisational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, international business development and building high-performing teams. He has successfully delivered growth across both mature and emerging markets.
Tom has also contributed to industry governance through Ibec, serving for more than five years as Chair of its IT Consulting and Outsourcing Federation.
