Pat is the co-founder of Ace Corrugated which he co-founder with Paul Doyle. Ace Corrugated developed over 20 yeras into one of the foremost corrugated box manufcaturers in Ireland.

He sold Ace to Packaging Holdings in 2023 He is now a Director of Packaging Holdings.

Pat has been in the packaging industry for the past 40+ years. In 1998 along with Paul Doyle he established Ace Corrugated to service SME industries with their corrugated box requirements. The company continuously invested in plant and efficient modern machinery and was profitable from the start. In recent years the company concentrated on diversifying into the supply of sustainable recycled products which was in line with the developing Green agenda.

In 2023 Ace Corrugated was acquired by Packaging Holdings which was a company set up by Barry O Brien and Eamon Farrell. Packaging Holdings is a group of 8 UK and 3 Ireland businesses in the Sustainable Packaging Sector. The combined turnover of this group is over €60m and Pat is a Director of this group.
