Seamus Collins founded Velopi in 2007 and led the company until its acquisition by Educate 360 in 2025. Under his leadership, Velopi developed into an internationally recognised project-management training and consultancy business, helping hundreds of organisations strengthen their project-delivery capabilities and improve business performance.

Velopi’s success was built on Seamus’s commitment to understanding each client’s requirements and delivering practical solutions based on recognised project-management principles. Its training and advisory services combined expert instruction with accessible, technology-enabled support that clients could use whenever and wherever required.

Seamus continues to contribute to the development of the project-management profession as an experienced practitioner, educator and frequent speaker at industry conferences. He has more than 24 years of international experience across technical, operational and senior-management roles, including leading geographically dispersed teams and completing assignments in China, Argentina, Israel, Malaysia, the UK and the United States.

A graduate of University College Cork, Seamus holds an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School. He also holds PMP®, PgMP® and PMI-SP® professional certifications, together with an NUI qualification in Training and Continuing Education.
