Paul Murphy founded Craftpak Protective Packaging Limited in 1995 and developed it into a leading Irish manufacturer of bespoke corrugated packaging solutions. Under his leadership, the company built strong design, manufacturing and customer-service capabilities while serving businesses across a wide range of sectors.

In 2023, Craftpak was acquired by Packaging Holdings as part of its strategy to build a leading sustainable packaging group across Ireland and the UK. Paul reinvested a portion of the sale proceeds in the enlarged group, became a shareholder and continues to contribute his extensive industry and operational experience.

Before establishing Craftpak, Paul held several positions within the Jefferson Smurfit Group, where he developed a strong understanding of packaging manufacturing, commercial operations and customer requirements.

In addition to his continuing interest in Packaging Holdings, Paul has built a diversified investment portfolio that includes commercial property in Ireland and the UK. He leads Tay Lane Properties, which is focused on commercial property-development opportunities in West Dublin.
